If I were to put my thoughts into writings,
if I were to open up my heart for you to see the entangled nature,
If I were to tell you everything I feel,
If you were to see the tears gathered on the inside,
You would just about understand.
If I could make you be on the same level as my desires,
Make you want just half of what I want,
See slightly what I see when I look at you,
Glimpse at what I believe we could achieve as two,
You would just about understand.
If you could feel a dime of the hurt I feel
At the suggestion of loss of that last cog wheel,
The cold I feel in the hottest of nights
Because of that void that nobody else can fill,
You would just about understand.
If it were possible for human to be perfect,
For fish to survive away from water,
Fire to burn without the accompanying heat,
Rain to pour without getting anything wet,
You would just about understand.
We cannot twist the hand of nature,
Please each and every other living creature,
We definitely cannot change fate,
But we can work wonders with what it brings us, make it feel shame and hate, if
You would just about understand.
If you look at it from my perspective,
Hear the voices in my head and the musical they conduct,
See the visions I see, experience the dreams sleep rewards me with,
You could just about understand,
That what I bear for you and only you, ME LADY, is LOVE.
